Dina first caught Russell's eye during an Introduction to Marketing class during their sophomore year, but they did not initially meet until a few months later in February 2011 at a restaurant in Georgetown. Dina first approached Russell that night, and in one of Russell's smoother moments, he told Dina, "You owe me a dance," to which she responded, "NO, you owe ME a dance." As you may have guessed, a dance was had!
During the Summer, Dina and Russell started dating, and on July 4th -- precisely one week after they were officially a couple -- Russell told Dina he loved her for the first time. Dina, who likes to keep Russell on his toes, waited a couple days before she said it back.

A couple years later in May 2013, they both graduated from Georgetown University, and after a wonderful Summer, were apart for about a year and a half when Russell moved to New York to start his career and Dina stayed in the Washington, DC area to start hers.
After many buses, trains, and flights, Russell moved back to DC in November of 2014, and proposed just over a year later on New Year's Eve in Naples, Florida while on vacation with Dina and her family. He proposed on a balcony as the sun was setting over the canal.
